Renewable Energy

In light of the growing demand for renewable energy, NCM has provided CM services for the construction of mega-solar power plants since 2015, assisting in the completion of as many as 15 solar power plants.
In addition to solar power plants, we have been actively participating in other renewable energy development projects in increasing demand, such as hydrogen plant and offshore wind power.
By expanding the scope of our CM business beyond the field of building construction, NCM continues to contribute to a sustainable society through renewable energy projects, which are expected to become even more widespread on a global scale.

What We Do

■Flexible services on behalf of business owners
In our main business, owner’s engineering and technical consulting, the highly-experienced team members provide extensive technical support on behalf of business owners to ensure objectivity. Our scope of service is expanding with the increasing needs of the owners. In addition, we provide management support (cost, project, procurement) and technical engineering services (verification of power generation performance, disaster countermeasures) as well as other services needed in any phase of the project.

■CM services based on knowledge management
In the construction of power plants, it is not uncommon for large-scale development work to involve forest clearing on a scale of over 100 hectares. In recent years, floods and landslides caused by large typhoons and torrential rains has become a new risk. Moreover, power generation facilities relying on foreign-made equipment are subject to unexpected accidents.
Not only are there technical risks related to design and construction, but also a number of environmental risks, such as muddy water runoff from construction site, fallen trees in typhoons, and endangering rare plants and animals.
At NCM, professionals with a proven track record systematically visualize the information and knowledge gained from their experiences, and anticipate risks to reflect them in projects. The knowledge verified in the field is refined and accumulated by engineers. Our knowledge management-based CM operations have been established through this cycle.
